bad plea bargain

my nephew is in big trouble-he has twelve counts against him at the moment-one of the worst being attempted murder-problem being his court appt lawyer will not return his parents calls and they have the permission-he needs to request a change of ventu and possibly a different lawyer-but is not in the mental mind to fill out the papers-what are his options and where should his parents start to get a new court appt lawyer-some stuff he did some he didn't. drugs and alcohol were big facters. troubled childhood already served 3 years for violation of probation. Will go away for a long time if all charges stick. He was with the person that seriously injured the man and resisted arrest. please help - his parents are falling apart and have no idea how to help him get a fair deal

He can ask the court to provide him with another attorney. There are plenty of people in jail who can help him draft a motion and get it before the court.
