Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
My ex boyfriend has been harassing me- I changed my phone number and moved, but he still harasses me over email non stop. We broke up years ago, I am pregnant with my second kid but he will not leave me alone. He has claimed he has been stalking me, has threatened me and is now threatening to sue me for money he voluntarily gave me simply because I broke up with him due to his verbal abuse. What should I do? Would this actually go to trial although I have written documentation from him stating he never wants anything back, I don’t owe him anything and nothing was ever a loan?
