Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I am being charged with 2nd degree theft (Felony). I took money from my previous employer and they say I took $1900. I know I took more than this. Do I come forward with the information on the other money? Im asking because I dont want this to get settled in the courts and then have them come back and charge me later with the same thing. Should I keep quiet or come clean and take everything at once or can they come back later and charge me again? The amount taken will still be in the 2nd degree felony range anyway....just trying to figure out what to do.....shut up or put up?? Thanks for the help
