Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Charges
I was in a room with a bunch of friends and the local cops busted into the place. They said that they had a search warrent and read all of us our rights. There was marijuana on the table and one of the people that was there took blame of posession of the substance. What are my possible charges in this scenario?

You could all be charged with possession of a controlled substance. Depending on how much there was and how it was packaged the charges could escalate. You really ought to choose your friends more carefully.
