Concurrent Sentancing in Iowa
My boyfriend is going to plead guilty to a class B felony for possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine he is already on parole now in his plea agreement they are going to run this charge concurrent with his parole can someone shed some information on what this means?

His parole will get revoked and he'll do the bit on the original sentence. Whatever he's going to get off the plea to the B felony (25 years indeterminate) will run at the same time as the original sentence until the shorter of the two expires and then it'll keep going on the longer sentence.
