contempt of court
can someone be held in contempt of court if they do no comply with the stipulations in a divorce decree? that is the first party is to pay the second party a settlement of thirty two thousand dollars by mid april of 2006 and has only paid seventeen thousand dollars. if the answer is yes, can i turn them in anamously or does the second party have to file a complaint?

The answer is, yes they can but an anonymous denunciation will not answer. It's up to the person involved or their attorney to file a motion for rule to show cause in district court. I'f you'd like to chat about it give me a call.
