Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

i've been convicted of a crime i did not commit

i was wondering what i should do cause im still on probation for another year for two charges one i commited the other i did not, i just want to know if there is some way to go about correcting this matter or bringing this matter to my probation officers attention or possible the courts attention..i was convicted for identity theft but i don't even know the person whom i was supposed to be stealing from...i'm sure they can just call the person or something.I tried bring this matter to my court appointed attorney but he tried to say it was a missprint or something...this was my first time ever being in jail or in any kind of trouble so at the time of sentancing i didn't know how to react to anything..i hope you have some sort of idea o fsome glimpse of hope in correcting this matter.
