Without knowing what sort of phone you have, the answer is probably they can track where you've been if you have a fairly new phone and it's turned on. The issue of whether a warrant is needed to do this is something our courts have not yet addressed. If you've sent a text message it would be easy enough to subpoena that information.
The better part of wisdom is to not place yourself in a situation where this information is important.
