Can the court use a criminal record of from 24 years ago in a felony case

I agree with brother Miler. More facts are needed to render a more precise opinion,but yes-in certain cases it will come in, and it's sure going to be relevant at sentencing if found guilty.The general rule is that other crimes evidence is not admissible to show propensity but can be introduced for other purposes, and it it's a sex abuse or child molestation case, evidence of previous offenses is admissible for any purpose whatsoever.
