my son tryed to kill himself 3 months ago by seting himself and a building on fire. my son is mental ill and was in a mentel home with not very good supervision. now he is in jail charged with arson. what will happen to him?

He's likely to spend time in jail. If he goes into the department of corrections there's a better chance that he'll get the kind of help he needs, and sometimes that's the only way people with mental health issues can get the help they need.
