Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

My last drug charge was in 10/1997 11plus years ago. I need to know how to exhaust my record (so it is out of the system)toget a certain job.Now it does not come up on my computer,but I do not Know if I am clear from others that may be more criminally based. Or does my record exhaust after 10 yrs. for adrug and offensive weapon

Unfortunately there is no provision in Iowa law for expungement of criminal records, no matter how old they are. That's the long and the short of it.
