Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Driving while barred
I have been charged with a driving while suspended as well as a driving while barred. I am not sure what these mean, and why I got charged with both of them. I was suspended when I got pulled over, but what is the driving while barred?

Re: Driving while barred
What they're alleging is that you were barred. It's a more serious offense than driving with your license under suspension. If you were not barred you ought to be able to prove it.
