Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
entering an apartment
A former friend of mine is threatening to bring breaking and entering charges agaianst me. She disappeared and I feared that she was injured or worse in her apaprtment. After five days I entered the apartment with consent from her sister. It was daylight (430 pm) and I was in the apartment for underfive minutes. Will I go to jail?

Re: entering an apartment
She'll have to file a complaint and the police will investigate. Going to jail is unlikely.
