Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
After federal indictment but before sentencing if you are convicted of another crime (a state crime) can that conviction be used to enhance criminal history points?

I don't really know a lot about it but it seems as if you've left out a lot of important information that could affect the sentence. That being the case it sounds as if you know quite a bit about it or are familiar with the terminology.
The situation you describe certainly cannot be good for you. A lot depends on what the potential sentence on the state crime would be.
