Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
federal supervised release
I will be starting my federal supervised release in a few days and I want to work as an over-the-road truck driver. Is it possible for me to do this? I have no special restrictions other than no drugs/no alcohol. I have done EVERYTHING correctly and on time to this point (i.e. halfway house/home confinement). I just wanted to know if this is possible before broaching the subject with my new ''street'' PO who I will be meeting next week.
Thank you for your kind attention in this regard.

Re: federal supervised release
I think your question is correctly addressed to the DOT. Without knowing what you were convicted of it's hard to say whether they would grant you a commercial license.
