Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I was granted two years probation on 1/18/08 and my Probation officer still has not released me and and says she can keep me on Probation for 5 years or until my fines are paid up. Can a probation officer override a Judges ruling?

If you haven't paid your fines, yes. You're in violation of your probation.
