Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
My husband has been wrongfully accused of child endangerment with bodily injury. Our lawyer and the judge agreed that it was hearsay, but they still sentenced my husband for it. What else i wanna know if the Child Protective Services is so big on taking kids out of abusive homes then y r they leaving these 5 kids in a home with their mom who has 7 founded cases of abuse on these kids. But all the state does is tell her don't do it again and lets her keep the kids. Um if she wasn't gonna do it again then y does she have 7 founded cases of abuse on her and the states not doing nothing to this mom for it.

If he was convicted he either pled guilty or was tried and found guilty. If he pled the court would not accept a guilty plea unless there was a factual basis for it.
