Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Is it illegal to exchange explicit photos with a 17 year old from Virginia if I'm a 29 year old from Iowa?

I agree with brother Miler. Iowa Code section 728.2 prohibits the distribution of pornography to minors, and because this minor is out of state there are federal and Virginia criminal implications. Beyond that, sexting with a minor is sort of saying to the government "Here I am. Arrest me and ruin my life."
