Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Interference with a K-9
How substantial is an arrest for interference with a K-9 under the following circumstances. A group of friends and I were walking down the side walk, a police car had a k-9 in the back seat barking at us, we all barked back, the cop claimed to have asked us to stop, we continued. I was arrested and charged with the above charge and a subsequent public intox. I assure you these are the condensed facts of the charge with no areas left out. Any advice you can give me would be great.

It's a serious misdemeanor, and you would do well to consult with a defense attorney on this matter.
