In Iowa, what is the statute of limitations for charging someone with criminal transmission of HIV?

Generally the charge must be filed within 3 years of the commission of the offense, unless the charge is based solely upon a DNA profile in which case it must then be filed within 3 years of the date the person is identified by their DNA profile.
