Should I get a lawyer for a public intox charge?
My exhusband was at my house laying out in my yard drunk and I was going in my house, police were called, and they cahrged me with public intox, took me to jail, treated me terrible. I have never been in trouble and this may affect my job and the embarrassment. Is it in my best interest to hire a lawyer or pay the fine and go on w/my life?

Only you can answer that, but ask yourself if you're going to win and how much you want to spend. Legal representation is not cheap.
