Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
length of warrant
i had a warrant issued for 3rd degree theft in august of last year, I just now found out the warrant was issued. I live in a different state now and was wondering if they have a specific amount of time to serve this warrant and charge me or if it will expire. Basically can I wait this out till they can no longer prosecute for this specific charge.
