Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

I live in the state of Iowa and I have been charged with a 3rd degree harassment. I was arrested with an issued warrant. Apparently the allegation is that my ex put a complaint about harassing calls. I got a call from the police and they told me to talk to them. I talked to my attorney and he told me not to appear. My attorney met with the officer and what the officer found was that my credit card and email was used to buy a spoof card that apparently blocks your phone ID. The officer claimed that the calls were made with a phone from an area code that does not belong to me. Also the calls apparently used a computer voice or voices. I did not hear the calls and I certainly did not make the calls whatsoever. I never harassed my ex after the breakup and this is happening now after almost seven months of the breakup. Apparently the call in questions was made at 5:30 AM. What am I facing here? I am not going to plead to something I did not do and I do not want my name and my record marked with something like this? This is insame!!! Help

You have an attorney already. I suggest you take these matters up with him or her.
