Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
mechanics lien
I'm giving a vehicle to my brother. He has been in federal prison. I want to make sure the feds dont try to take the vehicle from him in the future. Can i put a mechanics lien on it so they can't take it should he have some kind of problem. Would this releive me of any liability concerning the vehicle ?

I can't advise you how to evade the law on behalf of your brother. And it wouldn't work anyhow.
