Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
My mom is a permanent resident and has been since the 90's. she was charged with 5th theft and a fine of $500.However, we want to know what will happen to her legal status if she has a criminal conviction or deferred judgment may result in deportation or other adverse immigration consequences? what does this mean in regard to her legal status?
