Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa

Multiple Robberies

My question is; If a person has stolen many times and finally arrested, and the arrested person confesses to the crimes he committed, places, and other stealing he has done, what is the most time a person will serve in prison? This was the first time arrested for stealing from homes and businesses, never had a crime record before, age in the 20's, no assaults, ect... robbery with value $5,000-$10,000 stolen and most of that was found and returned. Did include selling over the internet of stolen items.
