Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Neglet of a child.
I am wanting to fight a charge that I abused/neglected a 4 year old and two 2 year old children in a living room while they were watching t.v. and there were child gates preventing them from getting to the stairs and the kitchen. There was also a child proof door lock preventing them from opening the door. I went to my room in the basement to put my sick son back to sleep after I heard him through the baby monitor. I was gone 10 - 15 minutes.
