Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Parole Transfers
My fiance lives in Davenport Iowa, I live in Cedar Falls Iowa. We have been trying to get him transfered to Waterloo/Cedar Falls, but have been denied twice by a waterloo parole office who states he has no ties here. I asked if we got married then he can't deny us, but states that he can. We have been told that he can no longer request any more transfers until his parole is up in March 2011. They say he was denied for he has a full time job and housing in Davenport, but have provided proof that he would have the same here when he moved. I want to know if there is any way we can request transfers more than twice. Also, is there anyway that he may be released from parole for good behavior? Anything would help. Thank you!

Re: Parole Transfers
It's kind of hard to say without knowing what the terms and conditions of his parole were and what he was in for in the first place.
