Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
if the police lie on a complaint for an arrest warrant, and the lie is the only thing on the complaint, then shouldnt the charge be dissmissed do to lack of evidence since they had to lie to be able to get the warrant in the first place and couldnt have gotten it without the lie?

If you're going to challenge a warrant you have to be able to prove that a deliberate material falsehood was the basis for issuing the warrant.
