Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
prescription fraud
my wife was convicted of prescription fraud in 2002,she has been an adict ever since.recently we placed her in a treatment facility.soon after she got out she was using again and was released from the treatment program for non complience.I found prescrptions pads that she stole from a nurse practitioner and filled out in my sons name and a friends husbands name she did not turn them in probably because i found them.I dont think her friend will press charges because my wife told her what she did.she has been getting these drugs in my name for some time also,I think both with help from her friend and from falseifying prescriptions .has she broken the law

Re: prescription fraud
There's no doubt that she has. The question is whether anything'll come of it. If she's passing forged prescriptions for drugs there's no doubt but she'll get caught sooner or later.
