Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I am currently on probation in iowa. I have a pending felony case in illinois. Now my PO has not been told and has not found out. I was suppose to be off probation but they extended it until july. If my pending case is eligible for probation and I move to illinois, will the check cross paths with my already existing probation or is it just statewide?

Well, you might get away with it and you might not. Do you want to bet on the results? Part of the contract is no new arrests and self report if you did get arrested. So you're already in violation. Do the people in Illinois know that you're on probation in Iowa? If you got probation in Illinois how would you keep all of this separate?
You're playing a dangerous game and the chances are you'll get caught at it.
