Any time a probation violation is established, there is always the possibility of the maximum sentence, since you are essentially before the Court again for sentencing. If you have a suspended sentence of 2 years in prison, then the Court can give you that sentence in addition to any new charges. Generally speaking, the ways to reduce the chances of receiving the original sentence are: don't commit new crimes, do the other things required of you on probation such as pay your fines, complete treatment, complete courses required by probation, get along with your probation officer. You have the right to an attorney and I would highly recommend you get one.
