Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
im sorry about not getting my question right. please let me try this again.
If someone was in the facility and signed out on a furlough, returned back took a breath test which came back positve ,He never signed back in and just walked out of the facility,
Is this Escape or involuntary absent?

It depends on how annoyed the prosecutor is. It's not involuntarily absent because he voluntarily left.
