Question on Embezzlement
I have been blamed for embezzlement by my employer. I handled payroll. I am still employed there, but am expected to pay the money back. Overtime was applied to my checks that I did indeed work, but my supervisor erases. I was offered my family medical insurance at 1.00 per payperiod due to the fact I am in Management. All of a sudden now they are telling me I stole this money from them. The person that gave me the 1.00 premium is no longer employed. The overtime cannot be proven because they just use excel to do timesheets.
