Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
My question will take some explaining, But it is a criminal case and in two counties. One county there was a realease on bond and the other county was their own recog.
There was a plea agreement offered wich is not agreed upon and the defence lawyer said sign it or find a new lawyer. The question is this if the lawyer is fired and you get a new one can the bond be revoked ? Or can we higher a new lawyer and reset the trial date until the new lawyer is informed the criminal case ? Itruly need some help in this I have less than a week until trial

Your bond should not be revoked for simply getting a new attorney. A judge does not have to grant a request to continue a trial, so you should act immediately.
