Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
recording one on one conversations
This the frist time for me on this forum, so please bear with me. I live in Florida, in the near future I will be having a meeting wih a Patient Advocate at my local veterans out-patient clinic. I have reason to believe because of past interaction with this person he may be more interested in protecting a co-worker than being an advocate for me.So to prevent the 'he said-she said' scene I would like to secretly record this meeting, Does anyone know the Florida or Federal law pertaining to this, also which has presedence? Thank you in advance.

its illegal to secretly record a conversation. don't do it. you could be prosecuted by both the feds and state at the same time
