Can a registered sex offender have a concealed carry permit? The original court charge was guilty of a misdemeanor sex offence where no harm was done and did not involve a minor

The question is whether it was an aggravated misdemeanor or not. The aggravated misdemeanor classifies as a federal felony so under those conditions a person would nto be able to possess a weapon much less own one.
