Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Im doing some research and i couldnt find the anwser to this question anywhere. If a 20 year old guy has sex with a 15 year old girl one week before she turns 16 and she gets pregnant is that against the law and if so what would happen?

If the girl was not yet 16, and the man was more than 4 years older than her, it is a Class C felony for Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, which carries a maximum prison term of 10 years.

I'm not an Iowa lawyer, but I presume Mr. Miler is right. I just want to add that the man would be guilty of the same crime even if the girl did not become pregnant as a result. The law forbids all sex between adults and minors, not just sex that results in pregnancy.
