Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
simple aasault
up on the hill at UNI i was confronted by 2 guys w/knive
a 3rd got involved, I told him to walk away it didn't involve him he pushed me and said he could kick my butt so i hit him in face, told him to back off. we all walked away and later I was arrested at food place for simple assault the other 3 weren't charged just me should i try to plead not guilty

I think you need to hire yourself a good defense attorney if you need to try and avoid an assault conviction.
