Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Someone stole my purse and used my bank debit card as a credit card, charging about $392. He also took about $90 cash.If he is caught, what will be his charges and punishment?

Probably Theft 4th degree. Potential 6 months in jail and a fairly substantial fine in addition to a restitution order. It hardly ever happens though.
