Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
stop by cop
Cop pulled me over for no brake lights. I asked to check and with the car off only my top brake in window works but when I went to get this fixed the mechanic said they work when the car is running. I got a ticket for something other than fix-it ticket. Would I be able to get out of this since the reason he pulled me over for was false. I had both mechanics write a statement saying that my brakes did work.

Re: stop by cop
Plead not guilty and subpoena one of the mechanics as a witness.
