Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Talking to a minor
I was on a website the other day, a girl messaged and gave me her number. I am 18, I text her and she sent a selfie so I sent one back because she asked for one. Anyway her dad called me and threatened to call the police if I didn't pay for his daughter to get counseling because she likes older man. I'm not looking for any confrontation I would of text her just like I would of with one of my friends in Highschool. Should I be worried about anything, I personally think it was scam to get money. The call came from South Carolina and I'm from Iowa
