Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
Theft from the workplace
Myniece was approached at her home by West Des Moines detectives, stating they have proof of her stealing more than $2000.00 from her employer, she states she did not take any amount of money, they claim to have proof and havew given her a day to turn herself in.My question is,if she is not guilty of this how can they demand she turn herself in,and if she don't will an arrest warrent be issued?

If they're going to charge her a warrant will issue for sure. I suggest that she hire a competent attorney at her earliest opportunity to prevent this getting any farther out of control than it already is.
