Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I was just wondering how a misdemeanor offense will affect my chances of getting a job upon completion of college. I'm 18 and made a stupid mistake and got charged with interference with official acts. Will this be looked upon badly when applying for jobs and going to interviews or will it just be seen as a mistake that needs explained? I'm from Iowa. That offense was my first and only offense.

It's hard to say. At least it was not an offense of dishonesty, which could affect your ability to be bonded.
As a practical matter you'll have to disclose it, because they'll probably find out anyway. The worst thing you could possibly do is lie about it and be caught out. You can spin if as youthful high jinks but how people see it is sort of in their hands.
