Legal Question in Criminal Law in Iowa
I was wondering if and officer can charge me with possesion of alochol under iowa code 123.47 at a party when i had parent permission to drink and it was on one of there properties and when the officers checked with my parents they did say they granted permission. I also know that my county does not have a minor consumption ordnace so it is it is legal for me to have consumed alochol under 123.3(4) of iowa code as long as i have parent permission.

Your theory sounds pretty good but having read 123.47(2) you know that it says with the knowledge, PRESENCE, and consent of the parent or guardian. That does not seem to be the case.
