Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Iowa

Discrimination on taking class

My husband owns a tax business and wanted to send an employee to a national know tax business to take the tax class. She registered online and it states it is open to all, from beginner to CPA. When they found out where she worked they are now saying she cannot take the class because she works for another tax business. I called the corporate office and was told it is open to anyone. I also spoke to another district office and they said this is find. Now they say I can't take the class, I am a nurse and never worked there. Is this discrimination?
