Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Iowa

I live in Iowa and am 29 years old. I was going to apply for a job and was told that they were not going to hire any young person, meaning anyone under 40-45. I know this is discrimination and I can't believe they actually told me this. I was applying for a job that only requires a high school deploma and I have two college degrees. What can I do about this?
