Legal Question in DUI Law in Iowa

I was arrested for public intoxication and possession of alcohol under the legal age (PAULA) in Iowa. I was just wondering what the chances would be of having the charges dismissed or something similar to that, and if I should get a lawyer to represent me.

The real question is did you do it? If you did, it's less likely that you can make it go away. Depending on your area you might be well advised to retain an attorney who is known to the prosecutor.
