I have a DUI from 1993 and 1995 while in Texas-the 1993 was deferred juducation, the in1995 made it two offenses. I have a case pending now 2009-is it true that the Iowa DOT will suspend my license for 6 years. Is there a lifetime 3 offense rule

Iowa has a twelve year lookback, which would take you back to 1997.
I therefore think if your dates are accurate that you should only be charged with DUI first offense. If you do not have an attorney you should get one, because DUI 3rd offence in Iowa is a felony and that is to be avoided if at all possible. I see you are in Johnston. Feel free to call, I'm in Windsor Heights.
