Legal Question in DUI Law in Iowa

I live in iowa i have 3 warrants in illinois from 2002. The sherrif told me if i never go there i wont be arrested. But the charges are failure to pay on a dui, driving with a suspended license. They said one of the warrants was revoking my probation. I never reported to a probation officer. Am I going to jail. Or can I just throw money at this and make it go away?

You just never know what's going to happen, do you? It's a long way around if you want to go to Indianapolis, too.

Here's how I'd do it. I'd hire an attorney over there and have him call the county attorney's office over there and say "Look. Here's the situation. My client wants to make this right. What does he have to do? He's a changed man." You could get a sympathetic ear and be able to buy your way out of it, or you might end up in jail. Either way, the attorney can't disclose how he knows you and where you are.
